Community Health Resources (CHR) seeks a Peer Recovery Specialist for the REST Center in Willimantic, CT. This full-time role (40 hrs/wk) works evenings (4pm-12am) to support clients in crisis stabilization, recovery goals, and connection to ongoing services.

You bring CPSRP or equivalent certification, 2+ years of related work, and lived recovery experience. A driver's license is required to transport clients as needed and to collaborate with the care team.

Formación

• Experience with CPSRP certification or equivalent recovery support credentials.
• 2+ years working with target population and in recovery.
• Must be able to demonstrate lived recovery experience in mental health or substance use.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and advocate for clients' recovery goals.
• Teach recovery skills and interventions.
• Conduct assessments and create person-centered treatment plans.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed.
• Coordinate with treatment teams and natural supports.
• Document in accordance with program standards.
• Transport clients as required.
