Job summary

Community Health Resources is seeking a Recovery Support Specialist for the REST Center in Willimantic. The part-time shift runs Saturdays and Sundays from 12am to 8am, offering the chance to support people in crisis with recovery-focused care.

The role requires lived recovery experience, 2+ years serving the target population, and CPSRP or equivalent certification (or obtain within 6 months). A valid driver’s license is also required.

Qualifications

• Lived recovery experience required to understand clients' journeys.
• Minimum 2 years working with identified populations; CPSRP preferred.
• Certification as CPSRP or Recovery Coach, or obtained within 6 months.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in identifying recovery goals and plan.
• Provide education and motivation to establish recovery strategies.
• Conduct program assessments and create person-centered plans.
• Deliver skills teaching and crisis de-escalation as needed.
• Maintain documentation per agency standards.
