Job summary

Optum is seeking a Patient Access Representative to provide patient-centered service in a clinical front office. Responsibilities include greeting patients, checking in, collecting co-pays, and processing paperwork in a fast-paced environment.

Hours are Thursday 9 pm - 6 am, Friday-Sunday 6 pm - 6 am, with an onsite location at 350 W. Thomas Rd, Phoenix, AZ. External candidates only eligible for sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of customer service experience in hospital/medical setting preferred.
• Ability to work 100% onsite at 350 W. Thomas Rd, Phoenix, AZ.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients and collect demographics.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits in real time.
• Process pre-authorizations, referrals, and payments.
• Explain financial obligations and collect co-pays.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate with providers.
