Meijer is seeking an Area Leader to oversee engagement and performance across a span of care in our stores. You will coach Leads and Team Leaders, manage staffing and development, and drive area operations and financial results while upholding Meijer standards.

You’ll lead safety, training, and process improvements, ensuring a diversified talent pipeline and strong customer service in a multi-state region. Meijer values inclusion and community impact.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4+ years of retail/grocery or customer service experience.
• Progressive leadership experience preferred.
• Strong ability to analyze financial information and guide decisions.

Mansioni

• Engage with team members to onboard, train and develop them with coaching and feedback.
• Identify talent and support staffing plans, including leadership pipelines.
• Direct Leads and Team Leaders and drive area operations and budget performance.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and continuous process improvements across the span of care.
