Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an Area Leader to drive engagement, coach and develop a team across the span of care. You will be accountable for area operations, staffing, budget and safety, while directing Leads and Team Leaders to execute strategic plans and maximize sales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4+ years of retail/grocery or customer service experience.
• Progressive leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to analyze financial and statistical information to guide decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop area team members to drive engagement, coaching and performance.
• Oversee area operations, plan and forecast staffing, and manage P&L responsibilities.
• Ensure safety, policy compliance and store condition; implement process improvements.
• Direct Leads and Team Leaders to execute corporate plans and maximize sales.
