WellSpan Hospitals in Carlisle, Newberry & Shrewsbury is seeking a Medical Technologist/MLS for night shift. The role involves specimen analysis, reporting results, and supervision of assigned lab activities in a small-Format hospital setting.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Biological/Physical Sciences or Medical Laboratory Science and current BLS certification. In Pennsylvania, 6 years of core lab experience and clearances are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological/Physical Sciences or Medical Laboratory Science is required.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.
• For Pennsylvania market: minimum of 6 years core lab experience; required clearance acts completed within last 5 years.

Responsabilités

• Performs tasks and tests in all areas of the laboratory per protocols and procedures.
• Collects and processes specimens and reports results.
• Performs quality control, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of instruments.
• Follows safety practices including biohazards and infection control; maintains documentation.
• Coordinate with Laboratory Director and staff to ensure integrated lab services.
