Job summary

Emerus seeks a Medical Technologist/POC for night shifts at WellSpan Neighborhood Hospital in Etters, PA. The PRN position supports lab operations, performs specimen analysis, and ensures quality results under supervision of the Lab Director.

Responsibilities include pre-analytic, analytic, and post-analytic testing, safety/compliance, and collaboration with clinical departments. Travel between facility locations may be required; strong core lab experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biological/Physical Sciences or MLS/MLT required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Market-specific: PA requires 6+ years core lab experience or equivalent credentials.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests and analyses in accordance with laboratory protocols.
• Collect, process, and report specimens; supervise assigned lab activities.
• Conduct quality control, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instruments and reagents.
• Ensure safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance; maintain documentation.
• Coordinate pre-analytic, analytic, and post-analytic workflows with Laboratory Director.
