Job summary

Emerus is seeking a Medical Technologist/POC for the night shift at a small-format hospital in Pennsylvania. The role involves collecting and analyzing lab specimens, reporting results, and supporting patient care across assigned areas.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Biological/Physical Sciences or MLS, and current BLS certification. PA market demands 6+ years core lab experience and relevant clearances, with travel to facility locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological/Physical Sciences or Medical Laboratory Science is required.
• Current BLS certification through AHA or ARC is required.
• PA Market: minimum 6 years core lab experience with clearances within last 5 years.
• Act 33 and Act 73 clearances completed within last 5 years or before start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests in all lab areas per protocols to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collect and process specimens; perform quality control and instrument maintenance.
• Validate results, troubleshoot issues, and ensure QA measures are followed.
• Collaborate with departments and supervisors to provide integrated lab services.
• Assist with patient care activities within licensure and safety standards.
