Qualifications

• Associates degree for Medical Laboratory Technician or bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, or biological science from an accredited institution required.
• Eligible to take the ASCP Board of Review exam for Medical Laboratory Technician, MLT(ASCP) Certification.
• MLT (ASCPCM) Certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform complex laboratory tests on blood and body fluids.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory policies, FDA, CAP, OSHA, and Joint Commission regulations.
• Use test results in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases.

Skills

Extensive knowledge of clinical laboratory science principles
