Emerus Holdings, Inc. seeks a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technologist to provide technical assistance and patient care support across a 20-bed small-format hospital laboratory. Roles include specimen collection, testing, and reporting per protocols.

The position emphasizes lab oversight, QA, safety, and collaboration with clinical departments, with a night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM at a Pennsylvania facility. A BS in a biological/physical science and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biological/Physical or Medical Laboratory Science required.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross required.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests in all laboratory areas per protocols to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collect and process specimens; perform QC, preventive maintenance, and instrument troubleshooting.
• Validate and deliver test results; assist with proficiency testing and QA issues.
• Coordinate lab activities with Laboratory Director and support patient care as licensed.
• Maintain safety, privacy, and proper aseptic techniques across lab areas.
• Travel to facility locations as required and participate in meetings as needed.
