Job summary

Integrated Services for Behavioral Health (ISBH) in Central, OH seeks a NextGen System Analyst to support, optimize, and enhance the EHR system. You’ll provide frontline user support, help with training, participate in testing, and work with vendors and IT to keep the EHR reliable and updated. Senior issues go to the Senior EHR System Analyst.

Salary range is $54,000.00–$69,000.00 annually, commensurate with experience and licensure. Travel within the service area is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in HIT, Informatics, CS or related field preferred.
• 2–4 years supporting an EHR in healthcare/behavioral health.
• 1 year experience with CareLogic or NextGen EHR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily end-user support for the EHR system.
• Triage issues and escalate complex problems.
• Serve as point of contact for user questions and tech assistance.
• Maintain EHR workflows, templates, and documentation standards.
• Perform initial testing of minor changes to EHR.
• Support documentation and user guides.
• Coordinate with HR to deliver initial EHR training.
• Provide refresher training and user support.
• Assist with testing new features, upgrades, patches.
• Provide day-of go-live support during updates.
• Prepare and distribute announcements about EHR changes.
• Maintain communication with IT and EHR vendor on issues.
• Work with clinical staff to identify improvement opportunities.
• Participate in training to stay current on EHR functionality.
• Contribute to departmental projects as assigned.
