Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group, Inc. is seeking a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform hospital-based newborn hearing screens and educate families on early intervention. The role requires attention to screen readiness, data entry, and timely documentation during day shifts in Salem, OR.

On-the-job training with annual American Academy of Audiology certification is provided, and the position includes daytime shifts with 30–40 hours weekly. A high school diploma and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR certification or must obtain upon offer.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays required.

Responsibilities

• Perform newborn hearing screens in hospital settings.
• Provide education to parents about importance of screening and follow-up.
• Ensure complete documentation and data entry for each screen.
• Schedule outpatient appointments for refer babies when needed.
• Adhere to PPE, vaccination and compliance protocols.
