Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group, Inc. is seeking a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform hearing screens in hospital settings. You will work on-site at hospital locations, providing education to parents and ensuring accurate data collection for each screen.

On-the-job training and annual certification through the American Academy of Audiology are included. The role requires ability to stand/walk most of the shift, lift up to 50 pounds, and work weekends or holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification required or to be obtained upon offer.
• Ability to work on weekends and national holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform newborn hearing screens and provide parent education during each shift.
• Ensure accurate data collection and documentation for every screen.
• Schedule outpatient appointments for referred babies when appropriate.
