Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform hospital-based hearing screens for newborns and educate families on the importance of early intervention. The role requires high school/GED, CPR, and weekend availability, with on-site work at hospital locations.

On-the-job training with annual American Academy of Audiology accredited certification is provided to ensure high-quality care and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification required or obtainable upon offer.
• Weekend and national holidays availability required.

Responsibilities

• Perform newborn hearing screens at hospital locations.
• Provide education to parents about hearing screens and early intervention.
• Document demographics and results per protocol; ensure timely reporting and billing.
• Schedule outpatient appointments for refer babies and coordinate with hospital staff.
• Maintain safety, PPE, and compliance with policies and procedures.
