Pediatrix Medical Group, Inc. is seeking a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform screens in hospital settings in Salem, OR. This very part-time role requires weekend and holiday availability and on-site work with on-the-job training and annual certification through the American Academy of Audiology.

You will collect patient data, perform screens, educate families, and ensure timely documentation, reporting and referrals as needed. Benefits are available with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current CPR Certification or obtain upon offer.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform hearing screens for newborns in hospital.
• Collect data and demographics for each baby and ensure screen readiness.
• Provide parent education on the relevance of hearing screens and early intervention.
• Upload screen results, billing and state reporting by end of each shift.
• Notify Site Supervisor of missed and referred babies; schedule outpatient appointments as needed.
• Follow PPE, vaccination, compliance, and hospital policies while maintaining quality.
