Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group, Inc. is seeking a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform in-hospital screening and educate families on early intervention.

You will screen newborns, collect data, ensure proper documentation, and coordinate follow-up appointments while on-site at hospital locations. On-the-job training includes annual American Academy of Audiology certification. This entry-level role requires weekend and holiday availability and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current CPR certification is required or obtained on offer.
• Willingness to work weekends and national holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform newborn hearing screens and educate families on results and early intervention.
• Collect all necessary data/demographics for each baby and document screening results.
• Upload screen results, billing, and state reporting after each shift; ensure accuracy of stats.
• Notify supervisor of missed screens and refer babies as needed; schedule outpatient follow-ups.
