Job summary
Maersk is hiring a Business Development Manager in West Palm Beach to identify and win new-logo business in the Logistics and Services portfolio. You will build trusted relationships, partner strategically with prospects, and craft end-to-end value propositions across warehousing, customs, air, inland, and digital services.
You’ll lead the North America Business Development team, generate and close opportunities, and maintain a strong pipeline in Salesforce.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven new business acquisition in B2B logistics or freight forwarding.
- Ability to win new-logo customers through data-driven outreach and consultative selling.
- Strong North American logistics knowledge and analytical mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree required; CSCP/SCPro a plus.
Responsibilities
- Win new-logo business by identifying, engaging, and closing high-potential prospects.
- Prioritize target accounts using market intelligence and CRM analytics.
- Lead with empathy to build trust and align with customer goals.
- Design integrated logistics solutions across warehousing, air, inland, and customs.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, pricing, and legal to craft proposals.
- Own the full sales cycle from first contact to contract signature.
- Maintain a healthy SFDC pipeline with proactive outreach.
- Apply disciplined, end-to-end sales methodology.
