Job summary

KB Home in California is seeking a dynamic New Home Sales Counselor to meet with prospective buyers, showcase models, explain floor plans and options, and close sales with a focus on customer satisfaction. The role emphasizes leveraging social media and referrals to drive traffic and opportunities.

You will work in the field at a community location, coordinating with a preferred lender and keeping marketing materials up to date, while building lasting relationships with buyers and real estate

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous sales experience required; new home sales experience preferred.
• Current local Real Estate license required.
• Experience using social media to drive sales traffic strongly preferred.
• Ability to connect with people and develop and maintain professional relationships.
• Action-oriented with the drive to push sales to successful closure.
• Customer-centric approach and data-driven mindset.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; teamwork.
• Proficiency with Microsoft apps and CRM software.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors with literature and information.
• Respond to requests for information and assistance.
• Demonstrate homes, discuss floor plans and options.
• Overcome objections and close sales while ensuring satisfaction.
• Refer financing questions to KBHS lender.
• Document sales, follow up on loan applications, monitor progress.
• Conduct weekly follow-up calls until closing.
• Keep models and community clean and materials updated.
• Generate new prospects through networking and referrals.
• Present to real estate brokers to attract them to communities.
• Host grand openings and community events.
