Job summary

KB Home is seeking a New Home Sales Counselor to engage prospective buyers, present features of newly constructed homes, and close sales to achieve customer satisfaction. The role requires a real estate license, sales experience, and a strong ability to build relationships while leveraging social media to drive traffic.

The position is field-based at a California community, with on-site responsibilities, flexible hours, and a base salary plus commissions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current local Real Estate license required.
• Previous sales experience required; new home sales experience preferred.
• Experience using social media to drive sales traffic strongly preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and relationship-building ability.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors with literature and information; present home features.
• Demonstrate models, discuss floor plans and options; address objections and close sales.
• Refer financing questions to preferred lender; monitor loan applications and closings.
• Follow up with buyers weekly until close; maintain community and marketing materials.
• Generate new prospects through networking, referrals, and events; present to brokers.
