Job summary

Key People is seeking a Sales Representative for New Home Sales in Katy, TX. This role requires proven experience in new home construction sales and a strong business-development background, with a path from construction-related roles into a sales career.

Responsibilities include guiding buyers through the purchase process, mortgage financing, and custom selections, while mentoring teammates and maintaining rigorous follow-up with prospects. Saturday work is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 2+ years of solid inside-outside sales experience, preferably in new construction home sales.
• Familiarity with sales fundamentals: prospecting, selling, closing.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to present to buyers.

Responsibilities

• Overcome objections using established handling processes.
• Create urgency to drive purchase decisions and sign agreements.
• Register prospects with complete demographic information and follow up regularly.
• Guide buyers through mortgage, lot purchase, and building processes to closing.
• Provide coaching and support to the sales team and share best practices.
• Qualify buyers financially and explain financing options (conventional, FHA, VA).
• Meet buyers, review plans, and collaborate with lenders to close loans.
• Work five days a week, including Saturdays.
