Job summary

Accounting Search in New Bern, NC seeks a New Home Design-Sales Representative to lead a growing homebuilding business. The ideal candidate combines construction sales experience with business development and a proven inside-outside sales track record.

Responsibilities include handling objections, guiding buyers through mortgage and building steps, and ensuring customer satisfaction to close deals. A strong team player with excellent communication skills is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in new home construction sales or related industry.
• Bachelor’s degree or Associate's in business/marketing or equivalent.
• Exposure to construction field operations is highly desirable.
• 2+ years of inside-outside sales experience, preferably in new home sales.
• Strong prospecting, selling and closing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Overcome objections to the sale using objection handling processes.
• Create urgency to buy.
• Register prospects with complete demographics and follow up.
• Achieve high customer satisfaction by setting expectations at purchase.
• Guide buyers through mortgage, lot purchase, finishes, and building process to closing.
• Provide coaching and support for others on the sales team.
• Utilize sales processes to build rapport and discover buyer needs.
• Differentiate homes by presenting building process and value to buyers.
• Qualify buyers financially with finance programs and tax benefits.
