Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions seeks a New Home Design-Sales Representative in New Bern, NC to lead a growing homebuilding business. The role requires proven construction sales experience and a strong business development background, with an openness to former construction managers transitioning to sales.

You will guide buyers through financing, lot purchases, finishes, and the building process, while training teammates and advancing our sales process to achieve yearly targets.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of sales typically gained through construction sales.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Associates in Business or Marketing preferred.
• Exposure to construction field operations desirable (Superintendent, Field Engineer, etc).
• 2+ years of solid inside-outside sales experience, preferably in new construction home sales.
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, presentation, PC and teamwork skills.
• Real estate license not required or preferred.
• Respond to lead-calls and meet potential customers.
• Follow up on homeowner design ideas with construction team to meet customized plans.
• Review plans with customer and coordinate with banks to close loans.

Responsibilities

• Overcome objections to the sale using objection handling processes.
• Create urgency to buy.
• Register 100% prospects with complete demographic information and follow up with prospective buyers.
• Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction by setting proper expectations at time of purchase agreement.
• Guide buyers through mortgage, lot purchase, home finishes selections and building process to closing.
• Provide ongoing coaching, training and support for others on the sales team.
• Utilize effective sales processes to build rapport and identify buyer needs and timing.
• Differentiate homes by presenting the building process and focusing on buyers’ needs.
