Management Performance Associates is seeking a New Home Design-Sales Representative in New Bern, NC. The role targets professionals with proven construction-related sales experience and a solid business development background. Transition from construction management roles is welcome.

You will handle objections, guide buyers through mortgages, and coordinate with construction teams to close deals while aiming for yearly sales goals. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• The position requires knowledge of sales typically gained through construction sales.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• Exposure to construction field-operations (e.g., Superintendent, Field Engineer, Construction Manager).
• 2+ years of solid inside-outside sales experience (new construction home sales preferred).
• Familiar with prospecting, sales, and closing techniques.
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, presentation, and PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Overcome objections to drive the sale using standard handling processes.
• Create urgency to buy and register prospects with complete info.
• Guide buyers through mortgage, lot purchase, and building process to closing.
• Provide coaching and support to the sales team with best practices.
• Utilize proven sales processes to build rapport and identify buyer needs and timing.
• Differentiate homes by presenting the building process and value to buyers.
• Qualify buyers financially with conventional, FHA, and VA programs.
