Job summary

Ipsen is seeking a Neuroscience Specialty Representative to join a nationwide sales team, managing a designated territory and promoting Ipsen’s neuroscience products to healthcare providers and pharmacists.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, a science background, and the ability to navigate hospitals and healthcare networks while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of Pharmaceutical Sales experience.
• Experience in neuroscience is strongly preferred.
• Experience promoting preventive treatments for migraine is preferred.
• Ability to manage promoting pharmaceutical products in a buy-and-bill environment is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Attain the designated goals for calls on appropriate HCPs to communicate balanced, accurate, and complete information on Ipsen’s products.
• Execute calls on HCPs and pharmacists to provide product information and to assure the availability of Ipsen’s products in the territory.
• Conduct in-depth conversations with physicians and other HCPs utilizing multiple data sets across a broad base of approved product indications.
• Navigate through complex organization structures including hospitals and healthcare communities.
• Manage the territory in an efficient and orderly manner, ascribing principles of key HCP/account prioritization, daily call reporting, and sample accountability. Develop and execute effective business plans.
• Demonstrate completion of administrative requirements including budget management, logins, sample accounting, expense reports etc. within timelines and company guidelines.
• Comply with all state and federal laws, regulations and guidelines including the PhRMA Code on Interactions with Healthcare Professionals as well as complying with all Ipsen’s standards and policies relating to all job activities.
