Job summary

Ipsen is seeking a Neuroscience Specialty Representative to join a nationwide sales team. In this direct hire role, you will develop and manage a designated territory, communicating Ipsen’s neuroscience portfolio to healthcare providers and pharmacists to support safe and effective patient use.

The ideal candidate has a B.S./B.A., 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative
• Neuroscience experience strongly preferred
• Experience promoting preventive treatments for migraine preferred
• Ability to travel as needed for business
• B.S. or B.A. degree required
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to build strong relationships
• Computer proficiency is required

Responsibilities

• Attain the designated goals for calls on appropriate HCPs to communicate balanced, accurate, and complete information on Ipsen’s products
• Execute calls on HCPs and pharmacists to provide product information and to assure the availability of Ipsen’s products in the territory
• Conduct in-depth conversations with physicians and other HCPs utilizing multiple data sets across a broad base of approved product indications
• Navigate through complex organization structures including hospitals and healthcare communities
• Manage the territory in an efficient and orderly manner, ascribing principles of key HCP/account prioritization, daily call reporting, and sample accountability
• Demonstrate completion of administrative requirements including budget management, logins, sample accounting, expense reports etc. within timelines and company guidelines
• Comply with all state and federal laws, regulations and guidelines including the PhRMA Code on Interactions with Healthcare Professionals as well as complying with all Ipsen’s standards and policies relating to all job activities
• Health education experience is a strong asset
• Academic background in healthcare is a strong asset
• Ability to travel as needed for business
• Computer proficiency is required
