Job summary

Ipsen seeks a Neuroscience Specialty Representative to join a nationwide sales team responsible for developing and managing the assigned territory and promoting Ipsen products to healthcare providers and pharmacists. You will ensure compliant communications, proper sampling, and achievement of sales goals across the territory.

The ideal candidate holds a B.S./B.A., 3+ years in pharmaceutical sales, and likely neuroscience experience with strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Qualifications

• B.S. or B.A. degree required.
• 3+ years of experience as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative.
• Experience in neuroscience area strongly preferred.
• Experience promoting preventive treatments for migraine preferred.
• Experience promoting toxins for therapeutic indications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attain the designated goals for calls on appropriate HCPs to communicate balanced, accurate, and complete information on Ipsen’s products.
• Execute calls on HCPs and pharmacists to provide product information and to assure the availability of Ipsen’s products in the territory.
• Conduct in-depth conversations with physicians and other HCPs utilizing multiple data sets across a broad base of approved product indications.
• Navigate through complex organization structures including hospitals and healthcare communities.
• Manage the territory in an efficient and orderly manner, ascribing principles of key HCP/account prioritization, daily call reporting, and sample accountability.
• Demonstrate completion of administrative requirements including budget management, logins, sample accounting, expense reports etc. within timelines and company guidelines.
