Job summary

Ipsen is seeking a Neuroscience Specialty Representative to join a nationwide sales team and manage an assigned territory. You will convey information and products to healthcare providers and pharmacists to support safe, effective patient care.

The role requires building strong relationships, meeting call goals, navigating hospital structures, complying with laws and Ipsen policies, and traveling as needed. A B.S. or B.A. and 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Pharmaceutical Sales experience
• Experience in neuroscience area preferred
• Experience promoting preventive migraine treatments
• Experience promoting toxins for therapeutic indications (preferred)
• Ability to manage promoting pharmaceutical products in a buy-and-bill environment
• Health education or healthcare academic background is a strong asset
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to build strong relationships
• Ability to travel as needed for business
• Computer proficiency required

Responsibilities

• Achieve designated calls on healthcare providers to communicate balanced, accurate product information
• Execute calls on HCPs/pharmacists to ensure product availability in the territory
• Conduct in-depth conversations with physicians using multiple data sets across product indications
• Navigate complex hospital and healthcare organizations
• Manage territory with prioritization, reporting, and sample accountability; develop business plans
• Complete administrative requirements on time (budget, logins, expense reports)
• Comply with drug laws, regulations, and Ipsen policies
