Job summary

Vanda Pharmaceuticals Inc. in the United States is seeking a Neuroscience Account Manager to join a dynamic sales organization.

You will exceed goals by delivering value through differentiated products and services, reporting to the Neuroscience District Sales Manager. The role requires promoting products in the assigned territory, collaborating with the District Sales Manager, analyzing local markets, maintaining current disease and reimbursement knowledge, and managing budgets and travel while

Qualifications

• BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0.
• Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience preferred.
• Candidates not meeting the work experience requirements may be considered for the Associate role.

Responsibilities

• Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
• Frequent collaboration with the District Sales Manager to respond to their day-to-day sales and strategy direction.
• Analyze local market, develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize product use in defined territory.
• Maintain a high and current level of product, disease, competitive and market reimbursement knowledge.
• Determine, implement, and monitor optimal resource allocation (budgets, time, etc.) within territory.
• Communicate effectively with identified target audiences using advanced selling and negotiation skills.
• Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
• Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
• Manage travel and promotional budget.
• Fulfill all monitoring and reporting requirements including expenses and call reporting using approved systems.
• Maintain full compliance with all laws, regulations, and Vanda Policies.
• Must reside within territory geography.
