Job summary

Vanda Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Neuroscience Account Manager to join a high-performance sales team. The role focuses on exceeding goals by delivering value through differentiated therapies in the assigned territory.

You will execute promotional activities, work with the District Sales Manager, analyze local markets, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, diseases, and reimbursement. Travel within the territory is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with GPA greater than 3.0.
• Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience preferred.
• Ability to travel and reside within the territory.
• Experience with atypical antipsychotics and/or orphan drugs preferred.
• Existing relationships with psychiatrists or Community Mental Health Centers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and strategy related to product promotion.
• Analyze local market, develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize product use in the territory.
• Maintain current knowledge of product, disease, competitive landscape, and market reimbursement.
• Manage travel and promotional budget and report activities.
