Job summary

Vanda Pharmaceuticals, a specialty pharmaceutical company, is seeking a Neuroscience Account Manager to join a high-performance sales team and exceed territory goals. Travel within the territory is expected, with potential overnight stays. Qualifications include a BS/BA with GPA >3.0 and at least 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience;

Qualifications

• BS or BA with GPA >3.0.
• Minimum 3 years pharmaceutical sales experience preferred.
• Associate role available for candidates not meeting experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute and promote products in alignment with sales strategy in the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales direction and product promotion.
• Analyze local market and monitor performance to maximize product use in territory.
• Maintain current knowledge of product, disease, competitors, and reimbursement policies.
• Manage budgets, travel, and resource allocation within the territory.
• Communicate effectively using advanced selling and negotiation skills to target audiences.
• Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels to support product access.
• Fulfill reporting requirements including expenses and call reporting.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and Vanda policies.
