Vanda Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Neuroscience Account Manager to join a high-performance sales team. The role focuses on exceeding goals by delivering value through differentiated products and services within the assigned territory.

The candidate should have a BS/BA with strong academic record and 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, with preference for CNS, psychiatry, or orphan drug exposure. Travel may be required as part of responsibilities.

Qualifikationen

• BS or BA with GPA > 3.0.
• 3+ years pharmaceutical sales experience preferred.
• Associate role possible for those not meeting experience.
• Atypical antipsychotic or orphan drug experience preferred.
• Specialty psychiatry, bipolar, depression, CNS or pain management experience considered.
• Reimbursement experience preferred.
• Existing relationships with psychiatrists or Community Mental Health Centers preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving history.

Aufgaben

• Execute and promote products per sales strategy in the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and strategy direction.
• Analyze local market, monitor performance and results for optimal product use.
• Maintain current knowledge of product, disease, competitors, and market reimbursement.
• Manage resource allocation (budgets, time) within territory.
• Communicate persuasively to identified target audiences using advanced selling skills.
• Identify and leverage advocacy channels.
