Job summary

Vanda Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Neuroscience Account Manager to join our high-performance sales team. The role focuses on promoting products, executing sales strategies, and expanding access within the assigned territory.

You will collaborate with the District Sales Manager, analyze market dynamics, and maintain up-to-date clinical and reimbursement knowledge to drive strong results and carry out compliant, ethical promotions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving history.
• Existing relationships with psychiatrists and mental health centers preferred.
• Willingness to travel within territory and beyond as needed.

Responsibilities

• Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and strategy direction.
• Analyze local market and monitor performance to maximize product use.
• Maintain current knowledge of product, disease, and market reimbursement.
• Communicate effectively using advanced selling and negotiation skills.
