Job summary

Vanda Pharmaceuticals Inc. seeks a Neuroscience Account Manager to drive strategic product promotion across the assigned territory.

You will collaborate with the District Sales Manager to align efforts with the sales strategy and improve performance in CNS disease areas. The role requires strong pharmaceutical sales background, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to travel as needed within the territory.

Qualifications

• BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0.
• Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience preferred.
• Candidates not meeting work experience may be considered for Associate role.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving history.
• Reside within territory geography.
• Willingness to travel, including overnights.

Responsibilities

• Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and strategy.
• Analyze local market and monitor performance to maximize product use in territory.
• Maintain current knowledge of product, disease, and market reimbursement.
• Communicate effectively using advanced selling and negotiation skills to target audiences.
• Identify and leverage advocacy channels.
• Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
• Manage travel and promotional budget.
• Complete expenses and call reporting using approved systems.
