Job summary

Vanda Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Neuroscience Account Manager to join its high-performance sales team in the Cincinnati area. The role focuses on executing strategic product promotions, building relationships with psychiatrists and community mental health centers, and ensuring access and reimbursement within defined territories.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, a BS/BA with GPA >3.0, and a track record of results.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience preferred.
• BS or BA with GPA >3.0 required.
• Existing relationships with psychiatrists and Community Mental Health Centers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with District Sales Manager to respond to day-to-day sales and strategy direction.
• Analyze local market and monitor performance to maximize appropriate use of the product in the territory.
• Maintain knowledge of product, disease, competitive landscape, and market reimbursement.
• Manage budgets, travel, and call reporting with approved systems.
