Job summary

Vanda Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Neuroscience Account Manager for Psychiatry in Cincinnati, OH. This field-based role focuses on exceeding sales goals by delivering value through differentiated products and services to psychiatrists and community centers.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, strong clinical knowledge, and the ability to travel within the territory. A BS/BA with GPA >3.0 is preferred, with a valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0.
• Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience preferred.
• Existing relationships with psychiatrists or CMHCs in the territory preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with the District Sales Manager to respond to day-to-day sales and strategy direction.
• Analyze local market and monitor performance to maximize product use in the territory.
• Maintain current product, disease, competitive, and reimbursement knowledge.
• Communicate effectively using advanced selling and negotiation skills.
