Job summary

Vanda Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Neuroscience Account Manager to drive sales in the Psychiatry portfolio within the Cincinnati territory.

The role reports to the Neuroscience District Sales Manager and requires building strong relationships with psychiatrists and health systems to promote products and services. The ideal candidate has a BS/BA with a GPA above 3.0 and at least 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, with willingness to travel and meet compliance

Qualifications

• BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0.
• Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience preferred.
• Candidates not meeting the work experience requirements may be considered for the “Associate” role.

Responsibilities

• Execute and promote products in the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and strategy directions.
• Analyze local market, develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize product use.
• Maintain current product, disease, competitive and market reimbursement knowledge.
• Determine and monitor optimal resource allocation within the territory.
• Communicate effectively using advanced selling and negotiation skills.
