Vanda Pharmaceuticals Inc. is seeking a Neuroscience Account Manager to join a high-performance sales team in the Canton, OH area. The role focuses on promoting products, building relationships with psychiatrists and CMHCs, and driving access and reimbursement within defined institutions.

Ideal candidates will have a BS/BA with GPA > 3.0 and a minimum of 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience. Travel within the territory and occasional overnights are required.

Qualifications

• BS or BA with GPA > 3.0.
• Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Associate role available for candidates not meeting work experience.
• Atypical antipsychotic/orphan drug experience preferred.
• Psychiatry/CNS or pain management experience preferred.
• Reimbursement experience preferred.
• Existing relationships with psychiatrists/CMHCs in territory preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving history.

Responsibilities

• Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and strategy direction.
• Analyze local market, develop, execute, and monitor performance and results to maximize product use.
• Maintain current knowledge of product, disease, competitive landscape and market reimbursement.
• Determine and monitor resource allocation within the territory.
• Communicate effectively with identified audiences using advanced selling skills.
• Identify and leverage advocacy channels for access and reimbursement.
• Manage travel and promotional budget and reporting requirements.
