Job summary

Vanda Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Neuroscience Account Manager in Worcester, MA to drive sales and promote our CNS portfolio. You will work closely with the Neuroscience District Sales Manager to achieve territory goals and ensure compliant promotion of products.

The ideal candidate has a BS/BA with a strong GPA and at least 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, with preferences for anti-psychotic or orphan-drug familiarity. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0.
• Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience preferred.
• Candidate may be considered for Associate role if work experience is not met.
• Reimbursement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and strategy direction.
• Analyze local market and monitor performance to maximize product use in territory.
• Maintain product, disease, and market reimbursement knowledge.
• Communicate effectively using advanced selling and negotiation skills.
