Job summary

Vanda Pharmaceuticals seeks an Associate Neurology Account Manager or Neurology Account Manager to join our high-performance sales team in Grand Rapids, MI. You will exceed goals by delivering value through differentiated neurology products and services.

Responsibilities include executing territory plans, collaborating with the District Sales Manager, analyzing markets, and maintaining up-to-date product knowledge.

Qualifications

• BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving history.
• Self-starter with goal and results orientation.
• Hunter mentality and competitive drive.
• Strong relationships and territorial knowledge preferred.
• Must be able to travel (overnights possible).
• Work hours may extend beyond standard schedule.
• Must reside within the territory geography.

Responsibilities

• Execute and promote products in alignment with sales strategy in the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and strategy direction.
• Analyze local market and monitor performance to maximize product use in territory.
• Maintain current product, disease, competitive, and market reimbursement knowledge.
• Determine and monitor resource allocation within territory.
