Job summary

Vanda Pharmaceuticals is seeking an Associate Neurology Account Manager or Neurology Account Manager to join a high-performance sales team in the Detroit territory. You will strive to exceed goals by delivering real value to customers with differentiated products and services.

The role requires strong clinical knowledge, collaboration with the District Sales Manager, local market analysis, budget management, and strict compliance. Comprehensive benefits and incentive compensation are offered.

Qualifications

• BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving history.
• Willingness to travel, possibly overnight.

Responsibilities

• Execute and promote products per sales strategy in the territory.
• Collaborate with District Sales Manager on day-to-day direction.
• Analyze local market; monitor performance to maximize product use.
• Maintain product, disease, competitive, and reimbursement knowledge.
• Plan and monitor territory resources and budgets.
• Communicate persuasively using advanced selling and negotiation.
• Identify and leverage advocacy channels.
• Secure product access and reimbursement where needed.
• Manage travel and promotional budget.
• Complete expenses and call reporting per system.
• Maintain compliance with laws and Vanda policies.
• Meet credentialing requirements for providers and facilities.
• Handle ad-hoc projects as needed.
