Job summary

Vanda Pharmaceuticals Inc. in Seattle seeks an Associate Neurology Account Manager or Neurology Account Manager to join its high-performance sales team. The role reports to the Neuroscience District Sales Manager and focuses on delivering value through differentiated therapies to healthcare providers.

You will manage territory promotion, analyze local markets, maintain clinical knowledge, and drive access and reimbursement while traveling as needed.

Responsibilities

• Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales directions.
• Analyze local market and monitor performance to maximize proper product use.
• Maintain current product, disease, competitive, and market reimbursement knowledge.
• Communicate effectively using advanced selling and negotiation skills.
• Identify and leverage advocacy channels.
• Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
• Manage travel and promotional budget.
• Fulfill all monitoring and reporting requirements and expenses.
