Job summary

Vanda Pharmaceuticals is seeking an Associate Neurology Account Manager or Neurology Account Manager to join a dynamic sales team in the neuroscience district. The role focuses on exceeding goals by delivering value through differentiated therapies and services to healthcare customers in the assigned territory.

Responsibilities include executing the sales strategy, collaborating with the District Sales Manager, analyzing local markets, and ensuring product access and reimbursement where needed.

Qualifications

• BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving history.
• Self-starter with goal and results driven mindset (hunter mentality).
• Strong relationships and knowledge of the territory preferred.
• Ability to travel (may include overnights).
• Out-of-territory travel to HQs, training, and meetings may be required.
• Work hours may include meetings outside normal hours.
• Must reside within territory geography.

Responsibilities

• Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and strategy direction.
• Analyze local market and monitor performance to maximize product use in territory.
• Maintain up-to-date product, disease, competitive, and market reimbursement knowledge.
• Communicate effectively using advanced selling and negotiation skills.
• Identify and leverage advocacy channels to support product access and promotion.
