Job summary

Vanda Pharmaceuticals is seeking an Associate Neurology Account Manager or Neurology Account Manager to join our high-performance sales team in the Neuroscience District. The role focuses on executing sales strategies in the assigned territory and delivering value to customers through differentiated products and services.

The position reports to the Neuroscience District Sales Manager and requires travel within the territory, strong relationship building, and a hunter mentality to exceed goals

Qualifications

• Must have a BS/BA with GPA >3.0.
• Self-starter, goal- and results-driven track record.
• Hunter mentality with competitive drive.
• Strong relationships and knowledge of the territory preferred.
• Must be able to travel, including overnights.

Responsibilities

• Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales directions and strategy.
• Analyze local market; develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize product use in territory.
• Maintain current product, disease, competitive and market reimbursement knowledge.
• Manage resources (budgets, time) within territory for optimal impact.
• Communicate persuasively to identified target audiences using advanced selling skills.
• Identify and leverage advocacy channels to support product access and reimbursement.
• Ensure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
• Manage travel and promotional budgets; fulfill reporting requirements.
• Maintain compliance with laws, regulations, and Vanda policies.
