Vanda Pharmaceuticals Inc. in Omaha, NE is seeking an Associate Neurology Account Manager or Neurology Account Manager to join a high-performance sales team. The role reports to the Neuroscience District Sales Manager and focuses on exceeding goals by delivering value through differentiated therapies.

You will execute territory plans, collaborate with management, analyze markets, and maintain deep clinical knowledge while ensuring regulatory compliance and efficient resource use.

Qualifications

• BS or BA with GPA > 3.0.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving history.
• Self‑Starter, Goal and Results driven.
• Possess fortitude to sell and compete with hunter mentality.
• Strong relationships and territory knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute and promote products in alignment with sales strategy in the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day strategy and product promotion.
• Analyze local market and monitor performance to maximize product use in the territory.
• Maintain current knowledge of product, disease, competitors and market reimbursement.
• Determine and monitor resource allocation within the territory (budgets, time).
• Communicate persuasively to identified target audiences using advanced selling skills.
• Identify, build and leverage advocacy channels.
• Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
• Manage travel and promotional budget and reporting.
