Job summary

Impact Networking seeks a TOC Network Engineer to join our Managed IT team. You will monitor, triage, and troubleshoot complex network issues, coordinating with vendors and internal teams to restore service quickly and safely.

Responsibilities include capacity planning, documenting network changes, and providing clear communication to clients. A strong background in Layer 2/3 networks, VPNs, firewalls, and cloud networking is expected, along with ITIL-based processes and certifications.

Qualifications

• Solid operational support with advanced troubleshooting across networking technologies
• Proficiency with Cisco, Meraki, Aruba and firewall/load balancing configurations
• Experience with network performance analysis, change management and incident response

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class customer support and technical assistance for Impact Networking environments
• Manage network incidents from detection through restoration and closure
• Monitor core infrastructure and verify alert validity
• Follow procedures for ticket updates, escalation, and closure
• Document work clearly and track time in Halo PSA
• Plan and document network configuration changes in response to client issues
