Job summary

Impact Networking, LLC is seeking a TOC Network Engineer to join the Managed IT group. You will handle monitoring, triage, and troubleshooting of core networking issues, coordinating with vendors and internal teams to restore services promptly.

The role emphasizes capacity planning, documentation, and communicating with clients in a professional, non-technical manner. Fully onsite in Houston, TX, with an emphasis on reliability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Solid operational support experience with advanced troubleshooting across networking technologies.
Experience with core networking, routing, switching, and security best practices.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; relevant certifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

Provide world-class network support and incident management for client environments.
Monitor, triage, troubleshoot, and resolve level 2–4 incidents with vendors as needed.
Document changes, update diagrams, and maintain network documentation in IT systems.
Plan and implement network changes to support client needs and capacity growth.
Communicate clearly with customers, teams, and leadership about ticket status.
