Impact Networking, LLC is seeking a Network Engineer to join the TOC Network Engineering team within Managed IT. You will handle customer network issues, monitor and troubleshoot devices, and coordinate with vendors on incidents and changes.

The role emphasizes capacity planning, documentation, and proactive problem avoidance. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in Layer 2/3 networks, security practices, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant certifications are desirable.
• Experience with Layer 2/3 networking and network security practices is expected.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class customer support and technical assistance for Impact Networking customer environments.
• Manage network incidents through service restoration, resolution, and closure, coordinating with vendors as needed.
• Monitor core infrastructure and assist with alert management and troubleshooting per documented procedures.
• Plan and implement network configuration changes in response to client issues and requests.
• Create and maintain network documentation and diagrams in IT Glue and HaloPSA.
