Job summary

Impact Networking, LLC is seeking a Network Engineer to join our Managed IT team under Service Operations. You will analyze Core and LAN/WAN systems, perform capacity planning, and implement changes to support clients.

Responsibilities include triaging incidents, collaborating with vendors, and maintaining documentation and diagrams. The ideal candidate has solid networking experience, Cisco/Meraki/Aruba proficiency, cloud networking knowledge, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Solid operational support experience with advanced troubleshooting across Layer 2/3, TCP/IP, VLANs, WANs, VPNs, DNS/DHCP, and security practices.
• Proficiency managing switches/routers/fi­rewalls (Cisco, Meraki, Aruba) including QoS, HA, and network seg­mentation.
• Experience with network performance analysis, capacity planning, change/incident management, and vendor coordination.
• Familiarity with cloud networking (Azure), automation (PowerShell, Python), and IT documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class network support and customer technical assistance.
• Manage incidents to service restoration and closure, coordinating with vendors and internal teams.
• Monitor networks and log analytics, validate alerts, escalate as needed.
• Document work and update network diagrams in IT Glue and HaloPSA.
• Be an effective communicator, offering proactive updates to customers and teams.
