Job summary

Impact Networking, LLC is seeking a TOC Network Engineer to join the Managed IT group under Service Operations. You will monitor, triage, and troubleshoot network incidents, collaborate with vendors, and guide customers through restoration and change management.

The role emphasizes capacity planning, documentation, and proactive problem-solving across LAN/WAN, security, and cloud networking, with on-call rotations and a strong focus on customer service.

Qualifications

• Advanced troubleshooting across Layer 2/3, TCP/IP, VLANs, WANs, VPNs, WLANs, firewalls, and security best practices.
• Experience managing switches/routers/firewalls across Cisco/Meraki/Aruba with QoS, load balancing, and high availability.
• Proven capacity planning, change management, incident response, and vendor coordination.
• Cloud networking integration (Azure/hybrid), network automation (PowerShell, Python, APIs).
• Strong technical documentation and network diagram skills; ITIL/service management exposure.

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class technical support for Impact Networking customer environments.
• Manage network incidents through restoration, resolution, and closure with internal teams and vendors.
• Monitor infrastructure, verify alerts, follow troubleshooting procedures, and escalate as needed.
• Document work, timelines, resolutions, and operational procedures clearly.
• Plan and implement network changes to support client issues and requests.
• Perform root-cause analysis and preventive actions for network problems.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotations for urgent incidents.
