Job summary

Dinges Fire Company is seeking driven sales professionals to manage assigned accounts and territories. This role offers 1099 independent contractor status with commission-based pay and the potential for unlimited earnings based on gross profit per sale.

Responsibilities include planning sales actions, scheduling activities, presenting products to clients, and maintaining strong customer relationships across the designated territory. Prior firefighting knowledge is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of fire service equipment, basic computer applications and customer service principles.
• Understanding of basic business principles relevant to sales.
• Familiarity with territory planning and client relations in firefighting sectors.

Responsibilities

• prepare sales action plans and strategies
• schedule sales activity
• make sales calls to new and existing customers
• develop and make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients

• develop sales proposals
• respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person
• ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
• follow up on sales activity
• monitor and report on sales activities and follow up for management
• participate in sales events and training
